Late/Absence Procedures / Trefn Hwyrni/Absenoldeb
Please call the absence line if your child is unwell. Please be ready to provide evidence (such as hospital/ Dr letter) when asked.
Your child should only be off school if they are really too unwell for school, for a religious observation day or for planned hospital appointments.
Please note that if your child suffers from sickness and/or diarrhoea they must remain off school until they have been clear of symptoms for 48 hours. Thank you.
If your child is not going to be in school by 8:55, you should call the attendance line by 9:30. Where a call/email is not made, school will call home. Persistent lateness will also be checked. If late for either morning or afternoon session, parents should sign child/ren in at reception. Parents also need to sign children out for appointments in the school day - please note, these are not encouraged.
