Dear Parent/Carer,

I look forward to seeing many of you at the PTA Christmas Fayre later today.  There have been many tempting deliveries of cakes this morning and I’m only just managing to hold myself back!  It will be so nice to be able to have a Fayre again and I’m sure that it will be yet another PTA triumph!  As usual, a huge thank you to all the organisers and volunteers without whom it simply wouldn’t happen.

Cold weather

It won’t have escaped anyone’s notice that the weather has got much colder over the last few days.  A reminder to parents and carers to ensure that their children are well wrapped up against the cold: coats, hats, gloves, etc.  Thank you.

Year 4 Music Service Christmas Concert Monday 5th December

Year 4 pupils have been rehearsing since September to sing in the Cardiff and Vale Music Service Christmas concert, which takes place in St David’s Hall on Monday, 5^th December.  At today’s assembly they performed their songs wonderfully in front of all of KS2, and will also sing during the Christmas Fayre later today.  We send our best wishes to them for a wonderful night on Monday.

Christmas Jumper Day Friday 9^th December

This Save the Children fundraiser officially takes place on Thursday 8^th, but as our usual dressing-up days are Fridays, we’re inviting children and staff to wear Christmas jumpers on Friday 9^th.  We will be collecting donations on the school gate in the morning for Save the Children.  Thank you.

Christmas sharing timetable

For the morning performances, teas and coffees will be served from 9.00am, ready to start at 9.30am. 

For the afternoon performances, teas and coffees will be served from 2.00pm, ready to start at 2.15pm.

You will be able to take photos and videos during the sharing, but they are not to be uploaded on any social media sites (just please be respectful of the view of those behind you!)
